Mountain Biking is awesome. If you have never tried it or own a mountain bike, connect with us and we'll get you all the gear and equipment that you need. Here are the details.

Wednesday June 17 at 6pm - Mountain Bike Race at Prairie City OHV Park.

The cost for your first time is only $25. Each additional race you compete in is only $15. We recommend that you enter the beginnger class if it is your first time. The course changes each week and is considered a cross country course with a variety of terrain.

Each lap is approxamitely 4 miles. The beginner class does only 2 laps while many of the other classes do 3 laps. There are a variety of womens courses and courses for people of all ages and sizes.

On average, about 400 people compete each week. The environmnet is fun, relaxed and there is no pressure or expectation for performance. The races feature people from all ages and sizes who want to get out and ride mountain bikes.

This week, we'll be hosting a free BBQ after the race at Prairie City. Come hang out and ride or come for the BBQ and support your friends. It is a total blast and you'll be hooked.

Here is what to bring:

Bike, Helmet, Tennis Shoes, Sunglasses, and Gloves. If you dont have any of these, contact Mike Mellot at for how we can hook you up. Don't let equipment stop you from riding.

Something to Eat Or Drink (optional): Feel free If you want to grab food or drinks for the bbq for others to share. The more the merrier.

You can meet at CCC around 4:30pm or meet at the OHV park. Call if you get lost or cant find us.
